Secure three (Item 10) studs with the six (Item 46) washers, three (Item 17) lock washers and three (Item 12) nuts oriented as shown in the operator’s manual. One (Item 46) washer on top and on bottom of each of three item 17 lock washers.

Torque the three (Item 12) nuts to 300 ft. lbs. (406.7 Nm) using a torque wrench with a 1 ½" socket.

Note: Tightening of the three (Item 12) nuts should be incremental and even until reaching the desired torque, cross tighten the nut, bring the torque up slowly and evenly.

Note: Care is needed when tightening the tie rods to be sure the flanges around the foot valve body and outlet body are concentric and parallel with each other.
