Step 6 of 39

Disassembly – Disconnect Motor / Lower

NOTE: Be sure to have a copy of the pump operator manual(s) handy when completing assembly and disassembly of the lower pump end from the air motor.

NOTE: All threads are right hand.

  1. Lay the pump assembly on a work bench.
  2. Using a 1 1/8" Box/Open End Wrench remove the three (Y6-128-C) cap screws and (Y14-750-K) lock washers from the three (93866) spacer rods.
  3. Pull the air motor from the lower pump end until the motor piston rod is in the “down” position and the lower pump end rod is in the “up” position.
  4. Remove the three spacer rods by using a 1 1/8" Box/Open End Wrench on the three (Y6-128-C) cap screws and (Y14-750-K) lock washers. Note: An additional 1" Box/Open End Wrench maybe needed to secure the three spacer rods while removing the three (Y6-128-C) cap screws.
  5. Using e-ring pliers, slide the (95069) “e” ring up far enough to allow the (94689) sleeve to move upward and release the two (94688) connectors. Lay the air motor aside.
