Place the button end of the (Item 26) plunger assembly into the vice by the wrench flats and secure.

Using a 16" adjustable wrench on (Item 27) valve wrench flats, unthread and remove the (Item 27) valve from (Item 26) plunger.

Remove (Item 27) valve and (Item 30) primer rod and set aside.

Note: Be careful not to lose the three (Item 40) dowel pins.
