At the (Item 2) packing nut, loosen (do not remove) the (Item 1 and Item 2) solvent cup and packing nut assembly with ARO part number 93456-1 or a metallic rod with an outer diameter of 3/8".

Note: Tap rod with a soft mallet or use two rods, one on each side of the (Item 1) solvent cup and packing nut assembly to help break it loose.
