Thread (Item 33) adapter to the bottom end of the (Item 26) plunger rod.

Put the (Item 33) adapter in the vise on the flats. Use the Large Crescent Wrench on the (Item 26) plunger rod flats and secure the (Item 26) plunger rod to the (Item 33) adapter.

NOTE: Apply PTFE tape to the threads per figure 1 on the operator’s manual.

NOTE: Use a shop rag or soft cloth in the vice to prevent scratching or damage to (Item 33) adapter.

NOTE: Be careful not to scratch or damage the (Item 26) plunger.

Put this assembly aside.
