Disassembly – Disconnect Motor / Lower
NOTE: Be sure to have a copy of the pump operator manual(s) handy when completing assembly and disassembly of the lower pump end from the air motor.
NOTE: All threads are right hand.
- Lay the pump assembly on a work bench.
- Using a 1 1/8" Box/Open End Wrench remove the three (Y6-128-C) cap screws and (Y14-750-K) lock washers from the three (93866) spacer rods.
- Pull the air motor from the lower pump end until the motor piston rod is in the “down” position and the lower pump end rod is in the “up” position.
- Remove the three spacer rods by using a 1 1/8" Box/Open End Wrench on the three (Y6-128-C) cap screws and (Y14-750-K) lock washers. Note: An additional 1" Box/Open End Wrench maybe needed to secure the three spacer rods while removing the three (Y6-128-C) cap screws.
- Using e-ring pliers, slide the (95069) “e” ring up far enough to allow the (94689) sleeve to move upward and release the two (94688) connectors. Lay the air motor aside.
