Loosen the (Item 1) Solvent Cup using ARO part number 93456-1 or a rod with an outer diameter of ⅜", until it can be turned by hand.

Once completed, place the pump in the vise to hold securely. To prevent marring, drape a cloth, such as a shop rag, over the vise grips.
