Place the pump into the vise by the top (Item 5) retaining ring.

NOTE: Be careful not to scratch, dent or damage the (Item 5) retaining ring and remaining pump parts.

Using a torque wrench, torque the three (Item 12) nuts to 225-300 foot pounds alternately and evenly.

NOTE: Tightening of the three (Item 12) nuts should be incremental and even until reaching the desired torque, cross-tighten the nut, bring the torque up slowly and evenly. Care is needed when tightening the tie rods to be sure the flanges around the foot valve body and outlet body are concentric and parallel with each other.
