Put (Item 33) adapter and (Item 26) plunger rod assembly in the vice, on the (Item 33) adapter flats.

Use a large crescent wrench on the (Item 26) plunger rod flats to loosen the (Item 33) adapter from the end of the (Item 26) plunger rod.

Remove the assembly from the vice.

NOTE: Be careful not to scratch or damage parts. Use a shop rag or soft cloth in the vice to prevent damage on the (Item 33) adapter.
